MORE than 170 pupils are set to take part in an extravaganza of song and dance.
'A Time to Dance' will be performed by the Angela Westwell School of Dance at Clitheroe Royal Grammar School, Chatburn Road, from June 6 to 8, and will feature a variety of performances from across the dancing spectrum ranging from West End musicals to classical ballet, tap, national and classical Greek dancing.
The pupils will be wearing many different costumes, as the show will feature Hawaiian dancers, clowns, builders, witches and wizards, dolls, fairies, mice and even dancing skeletons.
The show has been put together with tremendous help from many of the pupils' mums who have worked tirelessly to make costumes and props over the last few months.
The finale, which features all the pupils, will celebrate the Golden Jubilee.
2002 is also a special year for the school itself, as it marks 15 years since Angela Briscoe started the school under her maiden name of Westwell.
The school, based in Moor Lane, has been rehearsing for almost a year for what will be its fourth and biggest production to date.
Tickets are selling fast, with only a handful remaining.
Following the show, a donation from the proceeds will be made to the Haemophilia Society and raffle will also be held on each to raise funds for local charities.
