PUNTERS at the Station Hotel, Nelson, are going to be spoilt for choice with a selection of 30 real ales on offer to celebrate the Queens Jubilee.
Publican John Clayton has lined up the unbeatable choice at his renowned Wetherspoon, Hibson Road pub with a refined choice of beers from around Britain for a Jubilee Beer Festival at his pub.
The festival is set to last for six days, from Thursday, May 30 to Tuesday, June 4, with all beers priced at £1.39 a pint.
Among those on offer will be Caledonian One's Favourite Bevy, Archers Jubilee Years and Titanic Rule Britannia.
John said: "Real ale is very popular in the pub and I thought a beer festival would be the perfect way to raise a glass to the Queen on this special occasion.
"The festival will give people in Nelson the perfect opportunity to enjoy an excellent range of real ales that are not normally available in the area and I am sure it will be a lot of fun."
