Ladbrokes Horwich has been kind enough to offer me a free charity bet.
They give me say, £50 to place a bet. This could be on the match against Sweden on the 2nd June and if I win, the cash goes to my chosen charity or charities.
If I lose, the original amount (£50) still goes to my choice of charity. This will be split between The Born Free Foundation and Animal Defenders.
Ladbrokes are currently giving away a World Cup Survival Pack. A great CD which is certainly useful to me.
I have been asked to appear at an opticians practice in Culcheth in August. More nearer the date.
Appearances are planned for the NEC, Birmingham, an 'official opening' also in Birmingham and another in Blackpool. Details and confirmation have yet to be received.
Asda House telephoned asking me to attend their Dewsbury store but unfortunately this clashes with a long time booked job.
Lowton High School is shortly to officially launch its Buy a Brick appeal for their bid for Sports College Status. The School is already a centre of excellence for sport and leisure. If it is awarded the sports college status, the whole community would benefit!
The sportspersons' dinner has now been re-scheduled for September the 25th.
