POLICE are appealing for information after more than 60 DVDs were stoleb from a video shop in Prestwich yesterday.
Shortly after 2.30pm, a man walked into Movie Zone on Bury Old Road and began browsing through videos.
He then approached the female shop assistant and told her to open the till and grabbed a small amount of cash. The robber then forced her to fill a plastic bag with new release DVDs while he filled a second one. It is thought around 60 DVDs were stolen altogether.
The man then left the shop and was last seen heading towards Armstrongs Chip shop carrying two white plastic bags with red and pink writing on one side.
The robber is described as white, around 6ft of skinny build and was wearing a grey baseball cap pulled down over his face, black sunglasses and a scruffy dark grey jumper with pockets on the front and grey trousers.
