TEENAGER Lewis Kelly will be riding on the crest of a wave once he finishes his GCSEs.
But it's got nothing to do with the 16-year-old's exams -- Lewis has won free speedboat lessons!
Lewis, of Melville Avenue, Darwen, got the six lessons after winning an award from the town's Rotary Club, through Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School in Blackburn.
He had to write a statement to show how he could obtain funding to fulfil a personal goal or aim.
He was then interviewed by the Rotary, who chose him for a Lloyd Initiative Award, founded in 1974 to help the people of Darwen.
