A TWO-week recruitment campaign has been launched by the Barnardo's shop in Bury.
The charity is seeking to increase the number of volunteers and it will be displaying information on its work at the branch on Market Street.
Area manager Sue Bowers said: "Our shops couldn't run without volunteers, it's as simple as that.
"And while each shop does have a dedicated bunch who come and perform various jobs for us, we would like to recruit more. The shops are a vital fund-raiser for our work with children and families in the area."
Potential volunteers will undertake any necessary training, and are being urged to contact the local branch, even if they can only spare a few hours a week.
