POLICE are making a fresh appeal for witnesses after a nine-year-old girl was indecently assaulted while walking home two weeks ago.
On Friday May 10 the youngster was walking home alone through an alleyway behind Hodder Street, Accrington, at around 8pm when she was approached by two youths.
The first shouted for her to stop before grabbing her by the shoulder and indecently assaulting her.
Police described both attackers as white and around 18 years old. One had a St George's flag painted on his face and had a shaven head.
