A TEENAGER was punched and kicked then mugged on Friday night.
Police said the 17-year-old was approached by two white males -- aged between 16 and 17 -- as he walked down Preston New Road, near the junction with West Park Road, Blackburn, around 11.30.
The attack left the youngster with cuts and bruises to his face and a silver metal tin and a cigarette rolling machine were taken.
One of the muggers was described as 5ft 11ins and slim.
He had short, dark hair and spoke with a slight stutter. He was clean shaven and had a large mole on his nose.
The second was said to be 5ft 6ins and of medium build. He had brown hair with blond streaks which was braided at the ends.
Both spoke with a local accent.
