BURNLEY people have been given the chance to learn something new through a series of Bite Size courses aimed at encouraging learning.
The Learning and Skills Council launched the campaign at an event held in Burnley's market last week.
People in the town signed up to various courses including Indian henna painting and cartoon drawing at the event.
The intros are running until June 21 in a bid to tempt people back into learning.
Executive Director of the Leaning and Skills Council Steve Palmer said: "Bite Size Intros are designed to give adults a taste of achievement across a wide range of activities.
"By taking the fear out of learning and demonstrating what can be achieved in a lunch break or in two hours after work, the programme will help people who have avoided education since leaving school to realise how fulfilling it can be."
