A COMPANY boss injured in an alleged machete attack a week ago was today said to be stable in Blackburn Royal Infirmary.
Police said Andrew Holt, 37, managing director of What More UK, was assaulted at the business premises, at Huncoat Business Park, Whinney Hill Lane, in Huncoat.
His injuries were described as serious although not life threatening.
Royd Ullah, 27, of Whalley Road, Accrington, has been charged with attempted murder and appeared before Hyndburn magistrates on Thursday and committed to appear at Preston Crown Court today.
