CLARETS striker Dimitri Papadopoulos returned to the starting line-up for the Greek Under-21 side last night as they crashed out of the European Championships.
The 20-year-old, who did not feature against France on Sunday, did force one save with a second half header but he was unable to help his side to the victory they needed.
The 1-1 draw meant their elimination at the group stage as the Czech's joined France, who won all three games, in the next round.
Papadopoulos was pleased to be involved again last night and played the full 90 minutes for the second time in the tournament.
Now his summer break will start before he returns to Burnley where he will hope to kick-start a career that struggled to get going last season.
Two full games on the international stage at least proved that he is fully fit having suffered with a coupe of niggles in the closing months of his first campaign in England.
