POLICE are still hunting attackers who left a bus driver with a four-inch gash on his arm before knocking him unconscious.
The 34-year-old driver, who has still not been named, was taken to hospital following the assault on Monday May 13, although was later allowed home.
He was attacked after two teenagers flagged down his Blackburn Transport bus in the outskirts of Blackburn, around 10.40pm.
As the two were getting off the bus in Rothesay Road, Shadsworth, one of them demanded money from the driver, who refused.
The one who demanded the money then pulled out a bladed instrument and cut the driver on his arm.
wThe other teenager then knocked the driver unconscious.
The attackers were described as white males, aged between 15 and 16 years old. One was about 5ft 3in tall with shaved, fair hair and a small blondish goatee beard, and was wearing a baseball cap.
The other was said to be wearing a purple jacket.
