FILM buffs from villages in the Clitheroe area are to get a door-to-door bus service to the town's Grand Cinema.
The Ribble Valley Community Partnership has joined forces with cinema managers to provide the special service on Friday and Saturday nights from June 7.
Cinema manager Claire Pearson said the aim was to provide affordable convenient transport for youngsters and senior citizens living in villages surrounding Clitheroe.
Participants will be picked up at their homes and dropped off at the York Street cinema in time for the start of the film and returned home afterwards.
Claire Pearson said: "The idea is to tie the bus service in with film times. People can ring a special number and we'll do the rest.
The service will be particularly useful for young people and the elderly, who may not have their own transport."
Fares will be in line with public transport and places on the bus need to be booked by 2pm on Fridays, so that routes can be planned.
