PAINTER Joey Parkin has transformed a grey business foyer with a splash of colour courtesy of her biggest piece of art work ever.
Heritage Envelopes in Davy Field Industrial Units, Darwen, commissioned the six-foot-by-eight-foot painting to liven up their grey foyer.
And now that the piece is in place, after two weeks work, manager David Searf is delighted and described it as "the jazz side of music".
Joey, 39, of Carrs Wood, Blackburn, has been painting professionally since her school days at Darwen Vale and Blackburn College but only went self-employed two years ago.
She said: " I am really please with this modern piece as the grey foyer really sets off the bright splashes of colour.
"It is massive though, and had to be made in three parts and then put together for framing.
"I was really lucky when Heritage Envelopes commissioned this acrylic canvas as I was given a really free rein. "
Joey also has work exhibited in Darwen Library Theatre.
