RADCLIFFE teenagers are putting their lives in the spotlight as part of a new art exhibition.
Using photographs, objects and maps, members of Radcliffe Youth Club will be showing how and where they spend their days and nights.
Entitled "Radcliffe Youthy's Expedition", it will be shown at Bury Art Gallery & Museum, starting on Saturday (May 25).
The project is part of a national scheme, Opening the Doors, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
Jack Wright, a Radcliffe-based artist responsible for the nails sculpture on Ainsworth Road, has cast his expert eye over some of the work, showing the youngsters how to carry out monoprinting and use a printing press.
Teenagers who meet at Radcliffe Youth and Community Centre on a Wednesday night have been working on the display for the last few months.
One of the group, 15-year-old Natalie Fisher said: "The project was really interesting and a great experience to work on."
Her friend Jodie Pilling said: "Everyone really enjoyed working with Jack and we all would be honoured to do it again."
Radcliffe's Youthy Expedition is on show from Saturday to July 6, Tuesday to Saturday, from 10am to 5pm. Admission is free.
