THE father of tragic Colne teenager Kim Newson today said whoever killed his pregnant daughter should be charged with double murder.
Kim's father Barry Newson, 46, from Wellingore, said: "I think they should charge whoever did this with double murder because Kim was pregnant."
Stephen Hughes, 40, who lives in the same street as Kim in Lincoln, has been charged with murder after body parts of the 18-year-old were found during an underwater search of a Lincolnshire river.
He is due to appear in Court in July.
Kim's mum Wendy Thompson, lives in Albert Road, Colne.
The last confirmed sighting of five-months-pregnant Kim was at 1.48am on the morning of Tuesday, March 5.
She was seen on CCTV footage at the junction of Monks Road and Rosemary Lane in Lincoln.
Police today said they were unable to comment on the case.
