SOUTHAMPTON footballer Brett Ormerod returned to his home town of Great Harwood to kick off the grand opening of the new look Help The Aged shop.
The store had been closed for 10 days while it was given an overhaul, including new carpets, a change of layout in the work area and a lick of fresh paint.
Brett, who also played for Accrington Stanley earlier in his career, was invited to do the honours as he frequently returns to the town to visit his family.
Shop manageress Maureen Tomlinson, said: "I watched Brett grow up and it was lovely to see him again -- and the new look for the shop is lovely too."
