WHITEFIELD-based Polyflor Ltd is flooring the oppositon to allow Commonwealth Games boxers and wrestlers to do the same!
For the Games competitors will train on Polytred Sport specialist heavy duty sheet vinyl flooring manufactured by Polyflor.
Some 700 sq metres of the flooring has been installed at Manchester's Wrestling Academy, an official training location for the games.
Boxers and wrestlers from all over the world, who will travel to Manchester for the Commonwealth Games later this year, will be using the Academy for training purposes.
Fitted by flooring contractors Wilkinson Bros, Polytred Sport is available in four colourways.
And Polyflor Ltd, based at Radcliffe New Road in Whitefield, say that their product is ideal for multi-purpose sports hall, gymnasia and leisure centres.
With the Commonwealth Games scheduled to take place in Manchester between July 25 and August 4, the special flooring is expected to absorb a lot of punishment from competing boxers and wrestlers.
Polyflor say the Polytred Sport flooring has been fully tested to rigorous industrial standards.
