MAKING networks work for you will be theme of the latest meeting for Bury companies wishing to harness e-business to its fullest.
Representatives from firms will be attending the free meeting of BURYBUSINESS.NETwork to be staged next Tuesday (May 28) at the town's Bolholt Country Park Hotel between 6pm and 8.30pm.
Businessmen and women who have more than one PC and who have to save on floppy disk when they want to transfer files, will benefit from the meeting.
David Callaghan of 3R Systems will underline the importance of having computers networked.
His company has been helping businesses in the North West and beyond to improve their in-house systems.
The meeting will also focus on UK Online which aims to give everyone access to the Internet by 2005. What this initiative means for small business will come under the spotlight.
This section of the meeting will be taken by Sue Warburton, who is well-known to members.
There will also be the usual slots, such as website and tip of the month, BBN update and notice boards.
