NEW Order will make a return to their native Manchester when they headline at Move, a four-day festival to be held at Lancashire Cricket Club's Old Trafford ground in July.
The summer extravaganza, dubbed 'an urban music event' and backed by Virgin trains, runs from Wednesday, July 10 until Saturday, July 13.
Other headline acts include a rare appearance by David Bowie, Paul Weller and Green Day.
The full list of artists announced so far is Wednesday, July 10: David Bowie, Suede and Divine Comedy.
The Thursday line-up is Green Day, No Doubt, Less Than Jake, A and Rival Schools. Friday sees Paul Weller taking centre stage along with Ian Brown, Shed 7 and Haven with New Order closing the event on Saturday, July 13 along with The Doves, Shaun Ryder's new band SWR, Elbow and Alfie.
A number of surprise 'guest' artists may be added before the festival starts but it already appears to be one of the finer line-ups in the North West for some time.
Tickets are priced from £25 depending on which night you want to go and are subject to a booking fee. Tickets are available from the Virgin Megastores or the Way Ahead box office on 0161 237 5554.
