FANS of African music can catch the Rhythms of African Dance (ROAD) during the town's biggest musical event of the year.
The drum and dance band has been booked to appear at the Darwen Library Theatre on June 2 and will provide a multi-cultural feel as part of Darwen Music Live.
ROAD, part of the Osun Arts Foundation, works to preserve the authenticity of many African dance forms.
Darwen Music Live is a two-day event on June 2 and 3 which combines many local performers with international artists. There will be a feast of music across the whole weekend for families to enjoy.
For more information, call 01254 682000, or to book a £3 for ROAD call 01254 706006.
