BRING on the bunting, fly those flags and wear your Union Jack with pride!
It's time to celebrate 50 fabulous years of Queen Elizabeth II's reign as the Golden Jubilee weekend from June 1-4 approaches.
And a patriotic pack of hotels in Gynn Avenue, Blackpool, have got things all sewn up already with miles of banners, fluttering flags, strings of lights and bunting all down the street.
And the residents have made the bunting all by themselves!
David Atkinson of the Sheron Hotel on Gynn Avenue is also the chair of the Gynn Avenue Hotels Association.
He said: "We always work together on our street as we are all hoteliers and decided to do something special for the jubilee.
"But when we tried to get bunting we couldn't get any as the makers were a bit behind things. So we made our own. We bought loads of Union Jacks and material then two ladies did the cutting, one did all the tacking and one of our hoteliers announced he was an upholsterer and could run them off on his machine no problem!
"Decorations will remain in place, weather permitting of course, to the end of season to welcome our visitors for a bumper time in Blackpool. And we invite other streets in Blackpool to follow our example. Come on, brighten up the town -- brighten up your life."
Fellow hotelier Janet Jones of the Arendale Hotel added: "I think it's important to celebrate such a historic event and we hope the guests enjoy it. We will also be having a big switch on of our jubilee lights on June 3."
