BOSSES are invited to join a local Employer Forum on Diversity at a free conference next week.
It will be launched by Bury Employment Support & Training (EST) in the Village Hotel, Heap Bridge on Tuesday (May 28).
The aim is to have employers share best practice in managing a diverse workforce.
Bury EST has helped many disabled people to find work over recent years and has just been awarded £1.5 million by the European Social Fund to meet the costs of a three-year project, Embracing Diversity, to secure work for a range of people, including young people leaving care and people from the Asian community.
Next Tuesday's launch will feature nationally renowned trainer and presenter Philip Friend, who has been a consultant on disability issues to a range of well-known companies.
For further details contact Fred Bowen at Bury EST on (0161) 253 6588 or by visiting www.buryest.org.uk.
