PNE boss Craig Brown has made assurances that Kelham O'Hanlon would stay on as his number two.
The Scot is looking out for a new coach to replace Jimmy Lumsden.
But he has pledged to keep O'Hanlon in the assistant manager role, thanking him for his help since he arrived at the club.
And Graham Alexander netted his third cap for Scotland earlier this week when he came on as a sub against South Africa.
