LANDLORD Jim Cowie today relived the moment when a coach careered out of control into the side of his pub.
Seven people received minor injuries in the accident which also involved two cars yesterday outside the Halls Arms in Stoneygate Lane, near Knowle Green.
The North West Air Ambulance was called to the road accident at 10am.
Police said a car came out of a junction, causing an on-coming car to swerve into the path of a coach not carrying passengers.
The coach driver then swerved to miss the car and went into the pub wall.
Mr Cowie, 47, said it was the third time there had been an accident in front of the pub and he was forced to close.
"The first we knew of it was a screaching of breaks and a huge bang which caused the pub to shake.
"One of the cars was carrying two children and they were ill with shock."
The car passengers escaped serious injury and were taken to hospital by ambulance.
