WHAT do the police want to achieve from all these fines they are sending to motorists when they know very well that their methods are making big gaps between them and the public.
If they want the public's help to report offences, why on earth are they fining them and then expecting them to report somebody else who has committed a greater offence?
Whoever made zero tolerance should review their strategy because the public and police gap will widen while this persecution is directed at motorists.
Lancashire police should use discretion instead of sending out £60 fixed penalty orders to us.
