A BOY aged 11 -- one of two youths charged with an arson attack at LBS Horticulture in Colne in April -- has walked free from Reedley Youth Court after the case against him was dropped.
The boy, who lives in Colne, was told there was insufficient evidence for a realistic conviction against him.
An arson charge against a 13-year-old boy from Colne still stands and he will return to Reedley Youth Court on June 10.
He is currently on conditional bail and is restricted to a curfew between 11pm and 7am and is to have no association with the other boy.
The attack at LBS, in Spring Gardens Mill, caused thousands of pounds-worth of damage when four HGVs, packed with poly tunnels, plastic plant pots and other items, were destroyed by the fire, as well as three trailers and other machinery.
