TEAMS of people are being called on to participate in an army assault course for charity.
Complete with rope swings, climbing nets and walls the assault course is on offer later this year.
A major charity is looking for teams of four from around the region to enter and raise sponsorship, while competing against the clock.
Regional officer for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign Charles Horton said: "At present there is no cure for the muscle wasting condition of Muscular Dystrophy.
"Raising funds through events like the assault course challenge could make all the difference to those affected, as money raised will go towards finding treatments and providing direct care."
Anyone over 16 can enter including pub teams and work colleagues. Every team member will receive a t-shirt, certificate and medal.
The event is set to take place on Sunday, October 6 at Weeton Barracks, near Preston. Contact the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign for an entry form on 01244 403012.
