REGARDING Mr Dino Christodoulou's acclaim for St Bartholomew's Church at Ewood (Letters, May 14), I have no real need to go round looking for the best church.
For me, St James' at Stopes Brow, Lower Darwen, is the church.
We at St James quite often have to provide extra seating to accommodate all the congregation on a Sunday morning.
You are also sure to be made welcome. Therefore, for me and lots more, St James comes up to the standard of St Bartholomew's.
It caters for the young and the not so young, having a youth group, men's groups, ladies' groups, over 60s group and mother and child group. And in many more ways it is an excellent church.
N GREENWOOD, Hoddlesden, Darwen.
