A BLACKBURN Rovers midfielder's career in hairdressing is over and Dunn before it even got started.
David Dunn joined a class of year one modern apprentice students for a fundraising event for Great Harwood crash victim Andrew McMinn, where more than 50 willing volunteers stepped forward to have their locks shorn free of charge at Blackburn College.
The students were sponsored for the number of heads they relieved of hair and the proceeds are now being counted.
Andrew's girlfriend, Adele Bolton, 18, a trainee hairdresser, said: "David Dunn only actually shaved one head although he did sign a lot of autographs.
"I definitely wouldn't give him a job though as a snipper -- he should stick to football."
