SUPPORTERS of the Lancashire Evening Telegraph Magic Eye Cancer Scanner Appeal will be rewarded themselves when they raise funds for the campaign.
Organisers have arranged for fundraisers to be able to earn themselves special awards. There will be awards available for bronze, silver, gold, platinum and youth awards and winners will also get their pictures in the Lancashire Evening Telegraph.
The bronze award is for those who raise £100, while the silver award is for £250. A gold award will be given to those who raise £1,000, while the top award, a platinum award, will be given to those who raise £2,000 for the appeal.
There is also a special award for youngsters under 18 who have pulled out all the stops to raise money, no matter how big or small a donation.
Sheila Shaw, appeal co-ordinator, said: "These awards are to thank everyone who helps the appeal and we hope that once people have won the bronze, they will be able to work their way up to the silver, and so on."
