MARKET traders in Rawtenstall plan some right royal fun on Saturday as they celebrate the Queen's Golden Jubilee.
Although Her Majesty has not replied to a request from traders to pop in and share in the fun, the traders will be welcoming all customers with free wine and biscuits.
Joan Whiteley, a partner on the indoor biscuit stall, said: "The market traders are also having a footing -- a buffet lunch -- which will be taken round to all the stallholders."
Rossendale Town Crier Peter Gill, has also been asked to make an appearance to proudly announce the celebrations to shoppers and the market has been decorated with union flag bunting and red, white and blue stalls.
