THREE members from Wesham Road Runners made the journey to Nether Kellet, a few miles from Carnforth, for the very undulating 10k last Sunday. The race was won by Poulton joiner Steve Littler followed in ninth place by team mate Peter Cruise from Cleveleys. First lady, in 10th place, was Fleetwood's Caroline Betmead. Wesham's John Bertenshaw, George Kennedy and Mark Midgley where 15th, 16th and 41st respectively .
The only Wesham runner at the Chester Half Marathon on Sunday was Finlay McCalman who completed the 13.1 mile course in a very creditable 1:33:20.
