A CUP of tea for the judges helped enterprising students take a top award at Fylde's Young Enterprise finals.
Young enterprise company Enfuse, comprising 31 sixth form students at King Edward VII and Queen Mary School, Lytham, took the best exhibition stand award when ten Fylde schools met for the end-of-year presentation ceremony at Fleetwood's Marine Hall.
Managing director Alan Whitmore, 17, was delighted with his company's success. "We've had a very demanding year making and selling products ranging from Valentine's books to coffee mugs. It's been a great experience and we have made a good profit in several senses," he said.
Team member Daisy Jones believes that using the company's mugs to provide refreshements for the judges was a shrewd move.
"They had all had a busy evening and they welcomed the tea and the chance to hear about our company's work," she said.
