A NEW Fleetwood charity is hoping to help people with disabilities to F.A.C.E their work future.
Fleetwood Arts and Crafts (F.A.C.E) at 1 Meadow Avenue, Fleetwood, offers arts and crafts products as well as being a recycled scrap store where waste materials can be found for innovative use in art projects.
The project has been made possible after successfully securing £13,800 of Single Regeneration Budget (SRB) cash. Project co-ordinator Sue Ogden said: "F.A.C.E. aims to establish a natural work environment enabling people with disabilities to develop skills needed in the work place.
"It is intended that the project will become a transitional route for people with disabilities to find employment opportunities.
"There isn't anything like this in the Wyre and Fylde area and we hope to have support of schools, playgroups, community centres, the general public and any other community groups who use art materials are looking for cost effective items for crafts."
