ANYONE organising a summer event for young people is invited to have their event listed in The Linc.
The Linc is a free magazine produced by Wigan Council's Services for Young People and compiled with the help of two editorial teams of Leigh and Wigan. It is distributed quarterly to over 30,000 11-21-year-olds.
One of the main features in the summer edition, due out early July, will be a guide to any events, activities or projects which young people can get involved in during the summer holidays.
Andrea Smith, Press assistant at Wigan Council, said: "We often get requests asking for information on local activities for young people, especially around the summer holidays. We want to put together a Summer What's On feature in the next edition of the The Linc so that young people can look and tell straight away what sort of things are going on for them each week."
To have your event, project or activity included in the guide contact Andrea on 01942 828515 on Thursdays or Fridays or e-mail youthdev@wiganmbc.gov.uk before June 17.
