A YOUNG Leigh dancer has wowed judges with her fancy footwork.
Little Kirsten Houghton came third in the grand final of the British Isles dance competition held at Pontins in Prestayn.
The talented Bedford St Thomas's Primary School pupil also came second in the under eight's slow dance category.
Despite being only six Kirsten has been dancing for three years and trains at Apple Dance on Twist Lane in Leigh.
Mum Trudy Southworth, a care assistant, said: "She want's to be a dance teacher when she grows up. She lives and breathes dancing."
Pop Idol fan Kirsten, of Warwick Street, has also been awarded a blue ribbon for passing her gold bar two exam and enters competitions regularly all the year round.
