HAVING just read this week's Citizen paper (May 23 edition), I feel I must point out some errors on page 28.
You have a photograph of a steam engine, claiming it is the 'Hogwart's Express.'
I'm sorry, but the number clearly shows 6201. This is a former HMS engine, Princess Elizabeth, not Citadel as you claim.
The board showing Citadel on the boiler will, I assume, be because it was on route to Carlisle Citadel Station.
The Hogwart's Express engine is a former GWR engine, if I am not mistaken, number 5079 Olton Hall.
I do have a photograph of the Hogwart's Express approaching Cadley Causeway bridge on February 19.
It was on its way down to London, for the filming of the second Harry Potter film.
I hope this clears up any misunderstanding your picture caption has caused.
A lot of train enthusiasts will have spotted the mistake.
Keith Fox, Nares Street, Preston.
