A 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a Bury father-of-three who was gunned down at a drugs den last week.
Police yesterday (Thurs May 30) confirmed that a man from Rochdale had been detained and was being interviewed over the death of Mr Rupert Satchell.
Mr Satchell (42) died from gunshot wounds when he was blasted in the chest by one of two men who burst into a house in Goldfinch Drive, Bury, at 3.15am on May 23.
House to house inquiries were made and although detectives are following several leads, they are still keen to speak to anyone who has information about the shooting.
Detective Superintendent Peter Minshull, who is leading the manhunt, said: "We are following up a number of lines of inquiry at this moment."
