WITH Wimbledon approaching the search is on to find the tennis stars of the future.
In the scheme which is organised by South Ribble Tennis Centre hundreds of children will be tried out by top coaches this summer to find a star for the future.
The tennis coaches will visit schools in June and July to find the next Tim Henman or Steffi Graff.
Four pupils will be selected from each school to take part in the regional school championships on Saturday July 13, from 10am.
All players will then enter the tennis centre's Junior Academy which trains future tennis star hopefuls.
The scheme has received financial backing from Bowker BMW and Sportsmatch, a business sponsored incentive scheme for grass roots sport.
