I WOULD like to congratulate all the clergy who refused to change the times of their services or cancel them for the England v Sweden match.
Worse still was for the match to be played on TV in church. A church is a holy place of worship and not one for ranting and raving.
Jesus is more important than football.
In our ever-changing times, there have to be some things that are sacred, that have meaning and hope for all ages. This is the foundation for a good community and family life.
