THERE was an exotic flavour to events at Bury College, where travel and tourism students were busy plugging destinations far and wide.
Hawaii, Japan, Iceland and Mexico were among the countries being promoted in a display at the Woodbury Centre.
Students created their own costumes and display boards for the event, as well as serving serving visitors with snacks from each nation.
In addition, £245 was raised from students and members of the public who took part in a name-the-bear competition and tombola for Macmillan Nurses.
