AIR cadets are pulling together for a new minibus.
The 316 (Leigh) Squadron ATC have organised a sponsored truck tow to raise cash to replace their old transport.
The event on June 20 will see some of the 60 strong squadron heaving a 38 tonne articulated truck along Kiribati Road, the Asda to Sainsbury link.
The vehicle has been supplied by Corbett Packaging and organisers are appealing for support for the event which starts at 7.15pm.
Civilian instructor, Miriam Porter, said: "Funds raised will help towards a new minibus, trips and equipment. Support and sponsorship will be greatly appreciated."
Further details can be obtained between 7.15pm and 9pm on Tuesday and Thursday nights on 01942 682572.
