WHO can stop Leigh Centurions Under 19s?
That's the question being asked after another big victory - 52-30 at Doncaster.
Although the Centurions were superior to their opposition in every aspect of the game, Leigh conceded five tries, giving Darren Abram's side plenty to work on in training.
The Centurions played some great attacking stuff to cross for nine tries, five of which went to full-back Eric Andrews.
Andrews' pace and support play troubled Doncaster throughout and it was good to see him in full flow after something of a stuttering start to his senior Leigh career.
From the start, Leigh looked to have edge in pace and skill, and early tries from Chris Smith and Andrews seemed to enforce this theory before a penalty by Wayne Green got Doncaster moving. The hosts then added a fine try from winger Mick Sykes and when Chris Hemmings twisted over from close range for six points, the Dragons held a narrow lead.
It was to be the only time they were in front however as Leigh turned the screw with further tries from Lee Sanderson and Andrews. Scott Christian pulled a converted try back but Leigh finished the half in buoyant mood after Sanderson scored a second and Andrews completed his hat-trick.
With a 34-18 lead at half-time, you would be forgiven for thinking that Leigh would run riot in the second half but the expected deluge of points never materialised.
Doncaster struck early in the second period through Green to close the gap to 10 points but Andrews' fourth try and a sixth goal from Sanderson kept the Centurions too far ahead.
A sweeping move completed Andrews quintet and there was still enough time for Sanderson to squeeze over and add his eighth goal.
