DAMP weather over the weekend failed to drown the spirits of revellers at this year's Bury Carnival.
Three arenas were set up at the Goshen Playing Fields for the two-day event.
The RAF Falcons topped the bill and thrilled Saturday's crowds. Added punch came from a big time American Wrestling spectacular featuring superstars such as the Masked Outlaw.
The West Lancs dog display team were not to be outdone as various breeds, including some rescued animals, provided entertainment for the crowd.
The party mood was enhanced by the sound of Zambura, a samba band from Bury's Mosses Centre. Elsewhere carnival crowds could enjoy a funfair, inflatables, a motor show, quad bikesand much more.
Although the weather, particularly yesterday, kept some people away, those that did make the effort enjoyed a day to remember.
