LONGRIDGE History Society has suffered another loss with the death of its chairman John Scott. He was born in Blackburn, 71 years ago.
His working life began with National Service in the Royal Army Medical Corps and concluded as a senior social worker.
The History Society had enjoyed a successful year under his leadership.
