BRITISH Airways senior stewards visited St. Edward's Primary School, Darwen, and took the reception class on an amazing journey to Disneyland.

The classroom was set up like a Boeing 747 and the cabin crew showed safety and evacuation procedures ready for the imaginary flight.

Upon their safe touchdown back at the classroom in Blackburn Road, the stewards fielded questions from the jet-lagged children. Later in the term the class will embark on another journey to visit the crew at Manchester Airport for an education tour.

The session tied in with the class's current studies about journeys of the world.
