PENNINE Division's Road Policing Unit will be among the local organisations taking part in a series of events designed to promote child safety.
The two events, on June 19 in Colne and June 21 in Nelson, have been organised by the Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale Primary Care Trust.
They are based around the theme "accidents don't have to happen -- prevention is better than cure."
Information on home, fire, water and food safety as well as road safety will be given out at the two events which have been timed to coincide with Child Safety Week.
Posters have been produced to publicise the event but if anyone needs further information they should contact Julie Carman, Action on Children's Accidents in Pendle Co-ordinator on 01282 616066.
