HUNDREDS of baton twirling youngsters from the north of England and Wales competed in the second Premier Dance Association competition hosted by the Great Harwood Carltonaires.
This was held at Accrington's New Era complex on Sunday and proved to be an intense competition.
More than 750 girls from over 20 majorette troupes across the north of England and North Wales took part including local troupe Hyndburn Comets.
Elaine Smith, Carltonaires chairman, said: "I was delighted to see so many girls spend such an enjoyable day as our guests."
