GOLF: There are still places available for the Willie Thorne Celebrity Golf Day to be held at Clitheroe golf club on Tuesday, June 25.
Garry Flitcroft, Sam Allardyce, Frank Worthington, Mike Newell, Dennis Taylor and others will join Thorne for the event, which makes up part of the snooker player's testimonial year.
Spectators will be welcome.
Following the golf a gala dinner will be held at the Macdonald Dunkenhalgh, with entertainment provided by Bobby Davro.
Non-golfers can reserve places at the dinner for £95 or £850 for a table of 10.
